The unusual sea green petals and navy-purple buds of the green jade flower are the most eye-catching. Due to the deforestation, jade vine has become endangered flower and extremely precious. This species can be found in the tropical rain forest of the Philippines and is a member of the bean family.

This flower is also known as the strangest flower and only can be found in Sumatra, Western Indonesia. In Indonesia, the flower is also known as “Bunga Bangkai”. It can reach up to 3 meters in height and produces an unpleasant smell. There’s combination with a deep red color at its core. This flower can attract carrion insects in order to be used for pollination.

Calceolaria are also known as “yellow and purple lady slippers” and cannot live in random places. We can find the flower in regions of Central and South America, ranging from Mexico to Chile. Calceolaria are grown as pot plants, but can be grown as an outdoor pot or bedding plant in cooler climates, such as the Pacific Northwest portion of the United States. The flowers’ shaped are yellow-orange or red pouch. It forms a low, ground-hugging rosette of hairy leaves with wiry stems rising above in late spring, that sometimes each bearing a pair of inflated golden-yellow pouch flower marked with the tiny red spots.

This flower also contains a dark-brown tuberous root which is semi-poisonous. The tubers can be used in making soap because when they are mixed with water, they generate a lather.

This rare specimen can be still found in South East Asia countries. The colors of the flower are black, the black petals resemble a black bat. The flower also consists of long cat-like whiskers, growing up to nearly 28 inches in length. We can find them in tropical regions of South East Asia including Malaysia, Thailand, and China.

This flower can only be found in extremely rare times, which only bloom once in 3000 years. It’s also no bigger than 1 mm with sweet-scented minuscule. In the present, maybe we still can see them in China, Korea, Taiwan, and US (not exactly). Just for your information, historically, this flower was first discovered in China by a Chinese farmer, known by the name Mr. Ding.
