Unlike domestic cats which are nocturnal, tigers are actually crepuscular which hunt primarily in the morning and evening. Well, if you have cats in your home, then you might know how they become more active in the night and spend most of their time lying on the sofa/carpet during the day.

We know that every cat have their own territory and feel so possessive about it. Some will fight to the death over a kill to protect it, just like what lions do. However, this is not going to happen with the tigers. When another tiger crosses paths while hunting, they often share the meal together.

I don’t feel it right if the title “king” is given to the lion, as the fact that tigers have one aspect that can represent them as the real king of the jungle. Now, look at the markings that appear on their forehead, you should find one letter that is the same as the Chinese character for “king”.

 

In addition, the Siberian tiger is the largest cat in the world more than most of the lions, and all cats you can name.

No surprise, most of you probably think that saliva is full of bacteria produced by microbial growth in the mouth or even worse, I can use the word “disgusting” for it. Well, that is not true at all. Our saliva is 90 percent water. The remaining one percent, however, contains numerous substances important for digestion, and dental health.

 

Just like the human’s saliva, tigers also have the same. But it goes more advanced than us, as tigers’ saliva is all about antiseptic. When a tiger licks his wounds, the saliva doesn’t just clean, but also disinfects the area too.
