The villain characters can be memorized in every thought of the movie viewers with their signature moves, quotes and what he have done to the main characters. These villain characters are always succeed to make the movie viewers are angry, sad and also stunned by their deep acting role. There are so many kinds of memorable villains on the films and I’m really sure that one article is never enough to put them all on the list. So, I’m going to make it short. 1. Commodus – The Gladiator

The first memorable villain on the list is Commodus from The Gladiator movie. The Gladiator is a film with the setting of ancient Roman Empire.  Commodus is played by Joaquin Phoenix. On this film, he is described as an evil and cruel person. Commodus even killed his father for his own ambition to take his father’s throne. Commodus is also not hesitated to get rid of people who disagree with him and one of them is the main character itself, Maximus (Russel Crowe) by burning his family alive. Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a genius psychopath, serial killer and the most popular cannibal ever on the film history. Dr. Hannibal Lecter can make a thrilling ambience for the viewers and drown them into a horrifying experience on each scenes although he is only showed up for 16,5 minutes in entire movie scenes. Loki is a son of Laufey, a frost giant who defeated by Odin and Loki is the step brother of Thor. This character is described as envious and spiteful person and he really hates Thor because Loki felt that he is more suitable to take the crown as the King of Asgard rather than his step brother. The terminator is coming from the year of 2029 and carrying the main objective to terminate Sarah Connor which is the mother of the rebellious leader of human force in the future, John Connor. The terminator is really strong and never gives up until his main and the only objective is fulfilled, to terminate the target. On this film, Arnold is also famous with his short monologue with the Austrian English accent “I’ll be back”. Yes Arnold, we will always waiting for your return.

5. Agent Smith – The Matrix Series

This villain character is well played by Hugo Weaving. What makes this character so evil? He is not a robot like the previous Mr. Olympia. He even not a real character on the film but his power is unlimited in the world of Matrix. Agent Smith can shift himself into anything he wants including multiplying himself when he fought with the main character, Neo. Agent Smith can also move from a body to another like a ghost. The other factors in why this character is mysterious are coming from his black suit and tie along with a black glasses. Add it with a face with no smile and this is the ultimate combination to make Morpheus, Trinity and of course Neo is suffering.

At the beginning of the film, he always called with “You-Know-Who” or “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named”. This character is played so well by Ralph Fiennes. The name of Voldemort itself is taken from his real name, Tom Marvollo Riddle, the most talented sorcerer from Salazar Slytherin. Lord Voldemort becomes evil because of his own superior talent. 7. Joker – The Dark Knight

I believe that everyone is agreeing if I put this character on the list. Joker is the eternal enemy of Batman. He is a crazy psychopathic person who wants to see Gotham City is ruined. In this movie, the character is brilliantly played by Heath Ledger. His acting ability is truly amazing in this film. Heath Ledger is known to isolated himself in an apartment until few months without communicating with everyone who closed to him! His acting totality makes him won the Golden Globe Awards in 2009 and the Academy Award at the same year as the best supporting male character. Unfortunately, he is passing away after the movie is finished. If Heath Ledger is still alive, he would be the super villain in The Dark Knight Rises along with Harley Quinn.
