1. Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay is our first entry of the best tourism spots in Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is located in the north part of Vietnam coastline. Ha Long Bay is the most popular tourism spots in Vietnam and this place is already attracting thousands of domestic and foreign tourists. You will be entertained with the thousands of limestone caves in here and it will form spectacular scenery during sunset. Some of the islands have the biggest hole making several huge caves. At a glance, Ha Long Bay is a slightly similar with Raja Ampat in Indonesia.
2. Thien Mu Pagoda
Our next beautiful destination in Vietnam is Thien Mu Pagoda. Thien Mu Pagoda is the tallest Pagoda in Vietnam. Thien Mu Pagoda is close to the Perfume River and this building is considered as the symbol of former capital city of Vietnam Empire. Thien Mu Pagoda was built in 1601 in the time of Nguyen Empire. Thien Mu Pagoda is a simple building at the first time it was built, but as the time goes on, Thien Mu Pagoda is continues to renovated with many kind of complicated features. As the result, Thien Mu Pagoda is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists.
3. Hoan Kiem River
Hoan Kim River is one of the most amazing tourism spots in Vietnam. Hoan Kiem River is also the most favorite tourism spot for the local people. Hoan Kiem is derived from Vietnamese word which means “The Returned Sword”. The history of Hoan Kiem River name is coming from the local legendary story. It’s said that The Gods give a mystical sword to King Le Loi, and he used it to banish the Chinese invaders. You will not be disappointed if you go to the Hoan Kiem River as it will be amaze you with their beautiful scenery especially at night.
4. Hoi An
Hoi An is located in the Quang Nam province and Hoi An has populated with 88.000 people. Hoi An is the South East Asian biggest harbor in the 16 century. The reason why I put Hoi An on the list is, you will be diluted on a nostalgic journey by their ancient architectures on this town. Most of the buildings in Hoi An are heavily influenced with Chinese style of architectures. Hoi An is also the perfect place to find the beautiful beaches in here.
5. Phu Quoc
Our next destination in Vietnam is Phu Quoc. Phu Quoc is the biggest island in Vietnam. Pu Qhuoc is located in front of Cambodia beach. Phu Quoc Island also has a dense rainforest, amazing reefs, and a long coastline. Bai Dai beach (part of Phu Quoc Island) is crowned by ABC News as one of the five cleanest beaches in the world. 6. Sa Pa Terraces
Sa Pa Terraces is our next Vietnam popular destinations. If you are one of the nature lovers, Sa Pa Terraces is a must visit destination. Sa Pa is actually a name of city located in the northwest of Vietnam and not too far away from the border of China. You can see the beautiful terraces of rice field in the valley of Muong Hoa between the city of Pa Sa and Fansipan Mountain. This beautiful terraces of rice field along with the background of dense bamboo forest is the famous tourism spot in the city of Sa Pa.
7. Mui Ne
Alright, let’s head on to our next Vietnam destination. Our next stop is Mui Ne. Mui Ne has become the most visited tourism spot in the past 15 years. Mui Ne is popular as the place for playing wind boarding and playing kites. Your journey to Vietnam will not be completed until you visit Mui Ne. 8. Mekong River
One of the most visited tourism spot in Vietnam is Mekong River. Mekong River is located around 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City. You can go from Ho Chi Minh City to this place and it takes about 2 hour of journey. There are 4 main islands in the Mekong River. One of them is Unicorn Island. You can also watch the honey bee farm and several of harvest products.
9. Cu Chi Tunnel
Cu Chi Tunnel is an underground tunnel located around 40 km in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi Tunnel is used as the sanctuary of Vietcong forces during Vietnam War and Cu Chi Tunnel is also the base of operation for the Raid of Tet in 1968. Nowadays, Cu Chi Tunnel is the most visited tourism spot in Vietnam. For those who are afraid of closed and narrow spaces, this place is not recommended to be visited. 10. Nha Trang
Our last journey of the most visited tourism spot in Vietnam is Nha Trang. Nha Trang is the capital city from the Khanh Hoa Province. Nha Thrang is a city located in the Gulf of Nha Trang. This place is also famous from its exotic beaches and islands. The fame of Nha Trang is already recognized by the global tourists.
