Once this Indian cobra bites a man, that poor man will get a respiratory failure in maximum 15 minutes after the bite. Thousand people in India die each year because of cobra’s bites. They, unfortunately, can’t get antivenom or any proper care to neutralize the cobra’s venom immediately.
2. Indian Krait
Still from India, Indian Krait (Bungarus caerulus) causes a lot of mortality caused by snakes, in southeast Asia. Actually, this black snake is not too active, but they search their foods (rodents) in human’s house. From the lists above, we can learn that our scientists have found some antivenoms to neutralize the snake’s venom. However, it works successfully only if we take care of the victims as soon as possible, with a precise and proper care. A late handling of snake’s bite will give the unwishing results. It means, preventing snake’s bite is better than taking a risk to be bitten and gambling with the antivenoms. Use the proper and safe clothes whenever you go to the place that venomous snakes can threat you.
“If they bite you and you die, then they are venomous. However, if you bite them and you die, they are poisonous then.”
