This is a huge project and seems to be impossiblydone by your kids. But if you have few weekends at home, proper tools, and time to supervise them, this can be great.

Not all children love gardening, but you can make it into a fun activity. Weeding, planting, hoeing, trimming the grass, and other gardening activities can be made into a game. You can make use of lawn mower to do all the activities. Ask them to ride with you or give them a chance to be behind the wheel.

Moreover, kids also can get a sense of accomplishment. After some time have a responsibility to watering the garden and take care of it, there will be a time they will get the result.

Sports have been a popular outdoor activity for people of all ages over the millennia, and basketball is one of them that can be done in outdoor.  Simply hang a basketball ring above your garage door or tree exists on your backyard, and it will be a great way to spend an afternoon playing with your kids.

This is also one of the children’s favorite activities. You can play games such as a tag or hide and seek with your kid. If you think that hide and seek can be played only inside the house, then you’re definitely wrong.

This type of games can be done outside the house also. You can bring your kids to the nearest public park. There are many trees and public facilities which can be used for hiding. In addition, tag game is also great. You will have a lot of fun playing and running around with your kid.

The idea of outdoor activities is by being outside, that’s why city guide is worth mentioning.

If you plan to do shopping or visit your mother as long as you live in the same town, you can place your kid to sit on the front seat of the car. Hand your kid maps or even GPS and let them decide which way you should take.

While you’re doing a shopping, hand them a list of the things that you should buy at that time and let them pick the goods while you’re behind the trolley. Do not attempt to interrupt your kid’s job as you give him/her a full of responsibility to have things done.

Those are six fun kids’ activities that you can apply to have them playing outside instead of spending hours in front of the screen watching TV or playing video games.
